How Nigerian Writers Can Overcome The Challenges Limiting Them From Online Writing Job Opportunity
Good to be back. As you may have observed, it’s quite sometime now that I’ve made a post on Online Writing Opportunities. I have actually been engaged in completing my new book project, 3 Guaranteed Streams of Income From Writing Articles Online, and I’m happy to say that it has been a huge success since it was launched last week.
I wanted it to be the best investment any writer who desires to turn his writing skill to money online would make this year from getting a copy of the book. To achieve this, I made sure I went deeply into three sure areas, which includes accessing and securing writing jobs online, that writers can make good income from repeatedly.
You can check out the package below and equally see the mouth-watering bonuses that I have included. It’s sure a Super-duper package you wouldn’t miss to see!
That said, let’s get back to the topic of this post.
No doubt, freelance writing job opportunity is growing by the day on the Internet. This is because more people are becoming aware of the big money making opportunities online and so are launching websites. In the same vein, those that are already making money online through programmes such as Google AdSense are continually trying to increase their income.
For instance, webmasters engaged in AdSense know that to hit the thousands of dollar monthly achievement level they need to own several money making websites. I will be writing on Google AdSense in detail later – it’s one of the biggest money making activities online – Google pays out about $280 million monthly to its AdSense publishers. And the beautiful thing about it for writers is that AdSense is all about making money from the contents or writings on websites. Watch out for that article in my next post.
The bottom line in these happenings on the Internet, which will continue to be even stronger in years to come is that there is high demand for writers to produce the contents which the millions of newly and existing websites require.
But it seems to me that Nigerian writers are not fully taking advantage of this writing job opportunity to boost their income. Online writing job opportunity is an awesome opportunity, which the Indians and people from Eastern Europe have secretly been using for a long time to make money and make their lives better.
They have been getting outsourced writing jobs from webmasters who either do not have the skill or the time to write themselves. American writers will not accept low rate, their charges are usually from $10 upward for a 350-500 word article. Therefore, to reduce cost some webmasters prefer to give the job to writers from developing countries who show the ability to write well and get the job done, and who would take less that what the Americans would ask for.
So why haven’t Nigerian writers been tapping into this wonderful writing job opportunity which technology has made available? We are fantastic writers no doubt! Even though English is not our mother tongue, we can express our thoughts flawlessly and create exciting, educative and informative articles.
From the mails I usually receive it appears a lot of good writers from Nigeria have totally given up the hope of ever be part of the writing job opportunity online due to erratic power supply and convenient access to the Internet.
I agree that these are problems, but I don’t believe they are strong enough to prevent us from this opportunity, which only requires our writing skill. I believe problems are meant to be solved, so we must find a way to overcome them than using them as excuse for not been part of the opportunity.
It wasn’t that rosy for me at the beginning when I got a job to write for a client in America, I didn’t own a personal computer or an Internet connection. The only thing I had was that at my place of work, I had access to computer and which was connected to the Internet. But I knew if I could sacrifice my comfort for a couple of weeks, I will then be able to provide the necessary facilities I need to work comfortably for myself.
I would therefore stay back after office time to write my articles and send to my client. Sometimes to enable me complete and deliver as many jobs as I could, I would have to sleep over at the office.
This has now paid off handsome as with my lap top computer with Internet connection I can do as much writing job and other things as I desire online anywhere.
The bottom line here is that there must be a way to overcome the challenges you might be having that limit your participation in this great opportunity for writers to make money using their writing skill online; if you look for it, you will definitely find it!
Look around you very well. You might find that you knew someone or organisation that own computer(s), which you may be able to use to complete your writing jobs. Think of the good you can do for such person or organisation to make them to let you use their system for free or on subsidized rate.
You might even be able to get them to allow you pay them after you have received payment for your work [if they want you to pay for using their system]. Nothing is impossible if you try hard enough.
And as for power supply, you don’t need to buy a power generator now if you can’t afford it. Take note of the time of the day when electricity is usually steady and plan to do more of your writing work then.
Whatever the situation you are in presently that makes it look like you cannot be part of those making money online from using their writing skill, don’t give up, continue to find the way to join in and you will surely find it.

I read again and again your master piece on online writing and it is very educating for those of us who want to try it. However my question is – How do you send sample of your work or which type of sample can you send or show to them
thanks

For those of us Nigerians who would want to write online and don’t have master card or credit cards
what will be the mold of payment? Can it be paid into your local account?
Innocent Ibhaluobe: The general method of payment job givers are comfortable with is PayPal, and not Master Card. However, it is possible for you to be able to make them pay you by direct bank transfer into your domiciliary bank account, Money Gram, and Western Union if you cannot receive money through PayPal.
