Firstly I want to apologize for posting the answers to your questions here late. I promised I was going to post the answers to your questions, which time didn’t allow me to attend to at the seminar, on this blog by Saturday morning.

I thought I would be able to have it up then, but honestly since the seminar ended last Friday, I have been extremely busy, couple to the fact that my Internet connection has not been stable.

However, I guess it’s better late than never, you can now read my answers below.

Quest: Can one combine articles in different fields to a client?

Ans: I don’t quite understand your question, but if you mean, whether one can write articles on different unrelated topics to the same client, my answer is Yes. It doesn’t matter what topics you are writing as long as you do them well.

Quest: What is a W9 form. Most of the job writing sites usually demand for it. Do we really need it?

Ans: I think this is the tax exempt form for non Americans to fill so that their payment is not taxed (I’m not so sure about this right now). No, it is not true that job sites demand for it – I haven’t been asked to fill this form. Where this form is required for non Americans to fill is at affiliate market places like Clickbank and CJ to enable them process your affiliate earnings without it being taxed by the US government since you are not domiciled in the US.

Quest: It is clear you are a Christian, no cutting corners unlike others. What do you say about pen name as a Nigerian? Do you disclose you are a Nigerian? How do they rate Nigerian writings?

Ans: you don’t use pen names to access writing jobs or relate to prospective clients, you must use your real name and identity. Pen names are used in article directories where you submit articles to. It allows you to maintain anonymity on these sites, which is important if you write on different niches and for the global audience, so that people don’t perceive you as unserious writing everything under the sun – if you are known for a subject, you will be perceived as expert and your articles will be treated with respect.

Quest: Do they accept Liberty Reserve Account?

Ans: If this is the convenient way to you to receive payment, you can ask your client to pay you by it. They may agree to it.

Quest: How many topics do you advise one to do in a week?

Ans: This is totally dependent on you. However, you have to sincerely consider the amount of time you have available to you daily. You can start with one article per day. If you find you can do more, you can let them know you can now take more in a week. In the same way, if you asked for too much, and you find you cannot deliver as you promised, send them an email explaining you won’t be able to complete the number on the deadline.

Quest: How can one create an article writing site that people can subscribe to or even advertise on, just like forum or blog sites? You can speak to a website designer or programer, they may be able to give you what you want.

Quest: We were told we can receive money by PayPal through fastecash. What’s your opinion on this?

Ans: If fastecash is offering the service that is great! Go for it if your prospective client insist they can only pay by PayPal.

Quest: What is the requirement or prerequisites to be able to write professionally online?

Ans: The only requirement is for you to be able to write simple articles in a way that almost anybody can read and understand. The kind of writing is like explaining things to another person in a simple way.

Quest: How long will it take to get writing jobs, and the time to deliver the jobs to clients?

Ans: Most of the jobs require writers to do them as soon as possible. However, I cannot say when exactly you will get your first writing job, it could be one day, week, or month, I cannot tell, but I’ve landed a writing job before in less than two hours after responding to the advert.
